BASIC EDUCATION
Bekasi, March 14, 2023 - The Bekasi Branch of the Koperasi Simpan Pinjam (KSP) Dian Mandiri has successfully held a training themed "Basic Cooperative Education" this March. This training was held in an effort to increase members' understanding of the basic principles of cooperatives and provide deeper insight into the benefits and role of cooperatives in society.
This training activity was attended by dozens of members of KSP Dian Mandiri Bekasi Branch who came from various professional backgrounds and ages. This training lasted for two days in the KSP meeting room and presented a number of resource persons who were experts in the fields of cooperatives and finance.
In this training, members are given basic knowledge about cooperative principles, namely openness and active participation of members, democratic management, provision of fair benefits, and economic development of members. The training material also includes an introduction to the types of cooperatives, the role of cooperatives in the local economy, and the importance of collaborating in joint business development.
