The Internal Audit Training for Cooperatives organized by the Cooperative Office of Bekasi Regency aims to enhance the skills and expertise of cooperative managers in conducting internal audits, ensuring better transparency, accountability, and governance in each participating cooperative.
COOPERATIVE TRAINING
Bekasi, May 15, 2024 - The Cooperative Office of Bekasi Regency organized a two-day internal audit training for cooperatives from May 13, 2024, to May 14, 2024, aimed at improving transparency and accountability in cooperative management. The event was attended by various cooperatives from across the Bekasi Regency, including KSP Dian Mandiri, represented by the Treasurer and the Manager of KSP.
The training aimed to equip cooperative managers with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively conduct internal audits. The training material covered audit techniques, risk management, and an understanding of applicable cooperative regulations.
"Many cooperatives need to enhance their governance and accountability. Through this training, we hope cooperative managers can apply best practices in internal auditing, thereby increasing members' trust in cooperatives," said the Head of the Bekasi Regency Cooperative Office in his opening remarks.
The Treasurer and the Manager of KSP Dian Mandiri expressed their enthusiasm for the training. "This training is very beneficial for us. By gaining a deeper understanding of internal auditing, we can ensure that the cooperative operates according to the principles of transparency and accountability," said the Treasurer of KSP Dian Mandiri.
During the training, participants also had the opportunity to discuss and share experiences regarding the challenges and solutions in conducting internal audits within their respective cooperatives. This created a collaborative atmosphere that enriched the knowledge and insights of the participants.
This internal audit training is part of the ongoing efforts of the Bekasi Regency Cooperative Office to strengthen the management capacity of cooperatives in the region. With this training, it is hoped that cooperatives in Bekasi Regency can continue to grow and contribute positively to the local economy.
